Pittance Chamber Music Announces 2022 Season

Pittance Chamber Music 2022 Season, announced today by Artistic Director Lisa Sutton, celebrates the return of audiences to live concerts since the global pandemic shuttered live performances more than a year and a half ago. Pittance Chamber Music extends a warm welcome back to audiences, as they return to live concerts this January in a spectacular new venue, First United Methodist Church in Pasadena. Pittance Chamber Music's SEASON VIII offers a series of three programs, featuring the extraordinary artists from the LA Opera Orchestra and Chorus.

Tennessee Williams Fest STL Announces 2019 Main Stage Production

The Tennessee Williams Festival St. Louis - named the "Arts Startup of the Year" for 2019 by the Arts & Education Council - will present Tennessee Williams' steamy and startling "The Night of the Iguana" as its main stage production at the Grandel Theatre on May 9-19.  Jim Butz, Lavonne Byers, Nisi Sturgis, Elizabeth Townsend, and Harry Weber headline as Americans who are hiding-or seeking-or both-at a seedy Mexican hotel during the run-up to World War II. Tim Ocel will once again direct, having guided last year's "A Streetcar Named Desire" to a record 11 award nominations by the St. Louis Theater Circle. 

BWW Review: PRIDE AND PREJUDICE at Westmont Theatre Department

Tennessee Williams Festival St. Louis' production of "A Streetcar Named Desire" opens at 7:30 p.m., this Thursday (May 10), at the Grandel Theatre. Highlights to this year's production include original music composed by St. Louis-based Henry Palkes, a diverse and young cast under the direction of Tim Ocel, a Stella Shouting Contest emceed by Ben Nordstrom, and a New Orleans-style parade on the sidewalk along Grandel Square led by Harvey Lockhart.

Pasadena Playhouse Announces Cast For MIRACLE ON 34th ST.

Pasadena Playhouse, the State Theatre of California, presents the original 1947 radio play of Miracle on 34th Street, on its 70th anniversary for a limited engagement of 14 performances from December 14 to 23, directed by Cameron Watson.
