Thomas G. Waites TGW ACTING STUDIO is pleased to announce the world premiere production of Thomas Waites' musical MACAIRE. Directed by Waites and musically directed by Steffani Bennett, the show will play a limited engagement at Teatro Latea (107 Suffolk St., NYC). Casting for 'Siren's Den: A New Rock Musical' is complete!  The cast stars *Lindsey Lake (Rent Tour) as rockstar, Skylar Cole, Andrea Leach (Beauty and the Beast Int'l Tour) as Jessie, *Chris Gleim (Jesus Christ Superstar Tour) as Logan, *Adam R. Kaster (The Golden Bride) as Garrett, and *Alan Gillespie (Miss Saigon Tour) as Bar Manager/Kurtis Katz.  The show's creator, Rori Nogee (Showgirls, the Musical!) will play Remy Morgan.  The Vultures will be played by Lauren Chastain, Jonte Culpepper (Bayside, the Musical!), Musa Hitomi, Frankie Shin, Erin Ullman and Corbin Williams (The Grinch Who Stole Christmas).

The musical is conceived and written by Bryan Williams and the late Lance Hewett, with music and lyrics by Williams. The production is directed by Stephen Ryan, who had a first-hand experience as a member of rescue and recovery team at Ground Zero. OCCUPATION: DRAGONSLAYER will begin previews tonight, September 8th, open today, September 15th, and play a limited engagement through September 25th. The show opens today, June 3 and runs through June 19 with performances Thursday thru Saturday at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. A special, 'first Saturday' matinee will be held on Saturday June 4 at 2pm.

Award-winning playwright, Paul Buzinskis' new play, SELECTION DAY, is making its World Premiere at Theatre 54, now through October 3rd. This fast-paced comedy is directed by Schnele Wilson who recently directed the critically acclaimed production of Reading Between the Lies at The New York International Fringe Festival. Award Winning Playwright, Paul Buzinskis' new play, SELECTION DAY, will have its World Premiere at Theatre 54, September 19th - October 3rd.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) in association with Chinese Mother Jewish Daughter, LLC present Rescue Rue, a new musical fairytale with puppets; Concept, Book and Additional Lyrics by Stacey Weingarten, and Music and Lyrics by Kate Steinberg & Joshua Zecher-Ross. Stacey Weingarten directs a cast of seven including Jennifer Barnhart* (Bway: Avenue Q), Nate Begle(Off Bway: John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean), Sarah Liz Haines* (Off Bway: Freckle Face Strawberry), Jason Jacoby* (Off Bway: Avenue Q), Lisa Helmi Johanson* (Off Bway: Avenue Q), Brendan Malafronte (Nat. Tour: John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean), and Gretchen Wylder* (Off Bway: 'Til Divorce Do Us Part). Rescue Rue will be staged at the Ford Foundation Studio Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center, 480 West 42nd Street (bet. 9th and 10th Avenues) in NYC for five performances from July 8-20, 2014. A special TDF Autism-Friendly performance will be held at July 20th at 11am. Once is an adaptation of the short play A Sunny Morning by Serafin and Joaquin Quintero, while Twice is based on The Bear by Anton Chekhov. Once/Twice will be directed by Celine Rosenthal, with music direction by Ming Aldrich-Gan. This production will open tonight, May 16th at 8pm and run through June 1st at Roy Arias Stage IV at the Times Square Arts Center, 300 West 43rd Street in New York City.
