Amazon Prime Video has released the official trailer for Season Two of HANNA, which launches on Prime Video on Friday, July 3, 2020 in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.

This winter, Trinity Church Wall Street's  program of ambitious musical offerings in lower Manhattan sees the return of the audience favorite Bach + One concert series, which will crown its season in the spring with a performance of three of Bach's cantatas at the Leipzig Bach Festival. Director of Music Julian Wachner has also just been announced as one of three finalists to become the next Artistic Director of the storied Oregon Bach Festival. Opera Atelier announces its iconic 35th Anniversary Season with two groundbreaking works at the historic Elgin Theatre: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's The Magic Flute, considered the company's most successful production in its history, on stage from October 22a?"November 1, 2020; and The Angel Speaks a?" a new Canadian commission a?" double-billed with Henry Purcell's Dido and Aeneas from February 20a?"27, 2021. On Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Jill Newhouse Gallery on the Upper East Side, artists of color will engage in a special talk about European art for the tenth annual Master Drawings New York. Conceived by Savona Bailey-McClain and Jill Newhouse, this event hopes to diversify the conversation about art and bridge time periods, artists and audiences in this 21st century.

Opera Atelier's 2019/20 Season opens with their ground-breaking period production of Don Giovanni from October 31a?"November 9, 2019 at the Ed Mirvish Theatre. This is the first time Opera Atelier's acclaimed production has been remounted for Toronto audiences since its 2011 premiere. Don Giovanni features Douglas Williams as Don Giovanni, Colin Ainsworth as Don Ottavio, Gustav Andreassen as the Commendatore, Mireille Asselin as Zerlina, Stephen Hegedus as Leporello, Carla Huhtanen as Donna Elvira, Olivier Laquerre as Masetto, and Meghan Lindsay as Donna Anna.

AVA is pleased to welcome six new Resident Artists to the opera academy. The incoming class of Resident Artists includes Emily Margevich (soprano), Cody Muller (bass), Zachary Rioux (tenor), Sahel Salam (tenor), Anne Marie Stanley (mezzo-soprano) and Griffen Hogan Tracy (bass). These singers come from across the country, from Philadelphia and Colorado, to Chicago and Princeton, as well as New Brunswick, Canada.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount animation is in the early stages of a Spice Girls film. All five members of the group Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham are on board.

With only two more ballets left in its 2018/19 season, Houston Ballet brings back Ronald Hynd's The Merry Widow. This full-length story ballet is a romantic comedy Houston hasn't seen since 2013, when Principal Mireille Hassenboehler took her final bows with Houston Ballet.

Amazon has renewed 'Hanna' for a second season, according to Variety. The series debuted on March 29 and is based on the 2011 film of the same name.

For the third edition of its annual Festival presented by BMO, Vancouver Opera has curated nine days of voice, music, theatre and visual arts for the curious of all ages.

The Cole Foundation is pleased to announce the latest grant winners for the Intercultural Conversations-Conversations Interculturelles (IC-CI) programme, initiated to encourage greater understanding of Montreal's cultural mosaic by having audiences enjoy professional plays that present stories and issues of diversity on stage. For the past ten years the Foundation has focused on intercultural and racialized theatrical conversations for their community initiatives. This has created an award-winning catalogue incorporating themes of inclusion and cultural dialogue. Adding to those, the programme has now expanded to include stories with and about other marginalized communities such as LGBTQ and people with a disability. This year $490,400 was granted, the highest amount of award money since the IC-CI programme's launch.

On Saturday, March 9, Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) welcomed nearly 500 cultural philanthropists, artists, civic leaders, and arts supporters for the fifth annual Art of the Party presented by Valentino. PAMM's biggest fundraiser event of the year honored renowned artist Christo and philanthropists Dorothy and Aaron Podhurst, who have been longtime supporters of PAMM since its inception 35 years ago. The event raised over $1 million, with all funds directly supporting the museum's robust arts education program, the largest program of its kind outside the Miami-Dade County school system.
