The nonprofit Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) is bringing the best of Broadway back to Nashville with its 2021-22 HCA Healthcare/TriStar Health Broadway at TPAC Season.

This year’s 56th ACM Awards featured an all-star lineup of collaborations and memorable performances featuring 25 performances, 31 artists, and 31 hit songs. 

Produced by Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Miranda Lambert) and written by Worsham, Jeremy Spillman and Travis Meadows, “Fist Through This Town” expresses the anger, struggle, frustration and, ultimately, the love that Worsham has experienced throughout his career as an artist. 

On the WE’RE NOT FOR EVERYONE TOUR, fans can expect to hear the band’s six GRAMMY-nominated singles including No. 1 Platinum-Certified hit “Stay A Little Longer” and rowdy Top 10 Platinum-Certified hit “It Ain’t My Fault.'

The unforgettable evening showcasing the biggest names and emerging talent in Country Music will take place from three iconic Country Music venues: the Grand Ole Opry House, Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium and The Bluebird Cafe, as well as performances at legendary locations across the city.

The trio recorded much of the album outdoors, inviting the ambient sounds of the desert to seep into their live, bare bones performances, and the atmosphere is utterly transportive.

The awards honored six musicals from Broadway, Off-Broadway, and the West End with nominations for Best Musical Theatre Album - 'Jagged Little Pill,' 'American Utopia,' 'Little Shop of Horrors,' 'The Prince of Egypt,' 'Soft Power,' and Amélie.'

Urban returns for his second year after hosting the 55th ACM Awards in September, while this marks Guyton’s first time hosting the ACM Awards and the 29th time multiple hosts have taken the ACM Awards stage.

The band’s debut album Black Pumas (Deluxe Edition) is nominated for the night’s biggest award, Album of the Year, and their hit single “Colors” is nominated for Record of the Year and Best American Roots Performance.

Additionally, Music's Biggest Night® will pay tribute to the independent venues, which have been greatly impacted by the pandemic.

Friday’s performance is just the latest charitable initiative for Townes, who, this past summer, raised $89,000 during her virtual “Big Hearts For Big Kids” fundraiser with all proceeds benefitting two organizations that also support at-risk children.

Lively McCabe Entertainment and CuzBro Productions – the production company founded by Brian Kelley of the multi-platinum, award-winning duo Florida Georgia Line – will world premiere the musical MAY WE ALL in June 2022 as a special presentation of Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s Broadway at TPAC series.
