Mindy Kaling sat down with TODAY's Savannah Guthrie this morning to talk about her comedy series "The Mindy Project" on Hulu and her latest book, "Why Not Me?.'

The Paley Center for Media today announced the extended lineup for the third annual PALEYFEST New York, to take place at The Paley Center for Media in New York City October 10-19, 2015.

The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC) announces the productions selected for its newest program: FringeFAVE. On August 30th, one final performance slot in each of the 17 theaters hosting the festival has been given to the best-selling show in that venue. After a week of air-conditioning problems at The Lynn Redgrave Theater that caused some performances to be canceled and others to be performed with only work lights, FringeNYC has moved 8 of its shows to SoHo Playhouse.

Off-Off-Broadway theater company West of 10th announces their premiere production of Matt & Ben by Mindy Kaling and Brenda Withers. Matt & Ben is opening on August 26th, 2015 for a limited run at the Workshop Theater in midtown.

This year the festival will present programming by 185 of the world's best emerging theatre troupes and dance companies in 16 venues in downtown Manhattan.
