Lone Star Theatre Company has announced that Kat Lozano joins ANIMAL HUSBANDRY as lead producer. The London based, Texas born, actress joins a team of producers that include producer Elda Ruiz-Dawson and associate producers Ramiro & Lupita Davila, Charles Barksdale, and Luis Ochoa-Andrade. David Davila's Animal Husbandry will premiere at the Under St. Mark's Theatre as part of the New York International Fringe Festival this October 2019 with direction by Sidney Erik Wright and intimacy choreography by Adele Rylands. The play stars David Michael Kirby and Daniel Anthony Hidalgo with lighting design by Hao Bai and costume design by Keyon Woods.

Deadline reports that actress Richa Shukla will star in a series regular role on 'Never Have I Ever,' a new series from Mindy Kaling and Netflix. She was chosen from a global open casting call.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, 'Girls Trip' actress Regina Hall has joined Mindy Kaling's Audible project 'The A.I. Who Loved Me.' She will play the leading role opposite Kaling's smart-home device, Penny.

Lone Star Theatre Company is proud to announce that David Davila's Animal Husbandry will premiere at the New York International Fringe Festival this October 2019. This will be Lone Star Theatre's first full production after eight years of successfully bringing a?oeTexas Pages to New York Stagesa?? through its on-going reading, one-act play, and concert series. With direction by Sidney Erik Wright and starring David Michael Kirby and Daniel Anthony Hidalgo, Animal Husbandry will open October 10th at the Under St. Mark's Theater.

Today, E! announced the commencement of voting for the 2019 “E! The Hulu Scripted Originals content team is joining forces with Walt Disney Television to integrate development of original scripted drama and comedy programming for the streaming service with Disney's expansive television resources. With this alignment, Craig Erwich, senior vice president of Scripted Originals for Hulu, will report to Dana Walden, chairman of Disney Television Studios and ABC Entertainment. Erwich will continue to lead scripted originals planning, development and commissioning for Hulu's original comedies and dramas, and his team will remain housed within the Santa Monica Hulu headquarters.

The second and final wave of TEEN CHOICE 2019 nominees have been announced and “Stranger Things” leads with six nominations. “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” “Murder Mystery” and “The Last Summer” are the front-runners in film with three nominations each. Music artist Shawn Mendes tops the music category with three nominations.

Today, Hulu released the official trailer and key art for upcoming limited anthology rom-com series Four Weddings and a Funeral from Mindy Kaling. The series stars Zoe Boyle, Nathalie Emmanuel, Guz Khan, Sophia La Porta, Harish Patel, Nikesh Patel, John Reynolds, Rebecca Rittenhouse and Brandon Mychal Smith. Four Weddings and a Funeral premieres the first four episodes Wednesday, July 31 and new episodes weekly only on Hulu. 

NBCUniversal announced today that it has secured the exclusive domestic streaming rights to “The Office.”  All nine seasons of this beloved NBC sitcom will be available on the company's soon-to-be-launched streaming service for five years, beginning 2021.

Outfest – the Los Angeles based non-profit organization promoting equality by creating, sharing, and protecting LGBTQ stories on the screen – today announced its 2019 Achievement Award recipient, Nisha Ganatra, and its galas, including Opening and Closing Night, for the 2019 Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival, presented by HBO. The nation's premiere LGBTQ festival will be held July 18-28, 2019.

A star-studded cast of Hollywood favorites is coming together to have fun, raise money and change lives for children in need in NBC's “Red Nose Day Special,” airing Thursday, May 23 (8-10p.m. ET). The primetime event will feature music, comedy and heartfelt films shedding light on children in need.

The 29th annual Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film Festival (Inside Out), championing innovative LGBTQ filmmakers from across the globe, revealed its full feature and short film lineup. The announcement was made today by Inside Out's Executive Director Andria Wilson and the festival's Director of Programming Andrew Murphy. Inside Out, which launched the first ever annual LGBTQ Film Finance Forum, has established itself as an international home and incubator for LGBTQ emerging and established filmmakers. This year's festival will take place May 23 to June 2, 2019.
