A dynamic mix of live music, bold new writing and comedy exploring what it's like growing up in the 2020s – and how it's not too different from our universal experiences of being teenagers – can be seen at Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre next week.

New York's beloved and joyous Dance Parade returns to the streets Saturday May 20, 2023 celebrating its 17th year with 10,000 dancers featuring over 100 unique styles of dance, live bands, and DJs. Headlining a ribbon cutting ceremony will be Grand Marshals: Ronald K. Brown, DJ Natasha Diggs and Elizbeth Streb to kick off the event.

 The WYO once again shines a spotlight on Sheridan with the up-and-coming country group Eli Mosley Band featuring local musician Nick Gale on Friday March 3 at 7pm. 

Dance on the Lawn, Montclair, NJ's outdoor dance festival, will return for its tenth and final year, Celebrating New Jersey. The Festival returns to its original location, the front lawn of St. Luke's Episcopal Church 73 S Fullerton Ave, Montclair, NJ, on Saturday, September 19 from 3- 5pm. The Dance on the Lawn Festival is free.

What Will the Neighbors Say? has announced the team for their world premiere production of 'TRACES' at CUNY Queens College's Goldstein Theater in March.

Chlöe Bailey, Olivia Colman, Woody Harrelson, and Tosin Cole will star in the film adaptation of Girl From the North Country. The Tony winning musical has been adapted into a film by Conor McPherson, who was also behind the Broadway incarnation. McPherson will also direct the film. The musical features hit songs by Bob Dylan.

Although Side by Side by Sondheim provides audiences with a dose of light musical entertainment, those familiar with the composer’s prolific output may not be satisfied. This is because when these songs are taken out of the context of their full productions, some of the magic wanes.

Last night, the GRAMMY Awards aired live on CBS and Paramount Plus. Winners included Beyoncé and Kim Petras making history, plus Lizzo, Viola Davis, Sam Smith, Harry Styles, Bonnie Raitt, Samara Joy, Willie Nelson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and more.

Right on the heels of the play “Anak Datu’s” winning streak this awards season, Tanghalang Pilipino restages another of its most-acclaimed productions, “Ang Pag-uusig,” a Filipino adaptation of Arthur Miller’s classic play “The Crucible.” It runs from February 17 to March 12, 2023, at the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ black box theatre (Tanghalang Ignacio Gimenez) across the Star City theme park.

Miller Theatre at Columbia University School of the Arts continues its 2022-23 Jazz series with the Sean Jones Quartet. The trumpeter/bandleader makes his Miller debut performing originals and standards.

Kaatsbaan Cultural Park will present a Bluegrass Concert by powerhouse acoustic duo Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 7pm.
