Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts announces Jack Falahee, star of ABC's How to Get Away With Murder, to play the role of Jim in the heartfelt comedy, Byhalia, Mississippi, playwright Evan Linder's uncompromising exploration of race, infidelity, and family. Directed by Kimberly Senior (director of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Disgraced on Broadway), Byhalia, Mississippi will play the Kennedy Center's Terrace Theater for four weeks, June 7-July 7, 2019. Adapted from interviews with Dana Higginbotham, conducted by Steve Cosson and directed by Les Waters, 'Dana H.' will begin previews May 26, open June 2 and continue through June 23, 2019. 'Dana H.' was originally commissioned by The Civilians (New York) and Goodman Theatre; it will appear at the Goodman from September 6 through October 6, 2019, during their 2019/2020 Season.
