The National Hockey League (NHL) provided an illustrated preview of its takeover of T-Mobile Park, home of Major League Baseball's Seattle Mariners, and unveiled its entertainment plans for the 2024 Discover NHL Winter Classic outdoor game between the Seattle Kraken and Vegas Golden Knights on New Year's Day.

The Seattle Symphony will present the 2022/2023 Merriman-Ross Family Young Composers Workshop Concert on Thursday, May 18, at 7:30 pm in the S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium at Benaroya Hall, with Douglas F. King Assistant Conductor Sunny Xia at the podium.

For the first time ever, Black Sabbath co-founder, guitarist, and riff-master Tony Iommi appears on an OZZY solo album. The record also boasts guitarists Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, and longstanding righthand man and six-string beast Zakk Wylde who plays on the majority of the tracks.

OZZY was joined by longtime band members Zakk Wylde and Tommy Clufetos, along with Chris Chaney (Jane’s Addiction) and PATIENT NUMBER 9 producer Andrew Watt (who also worked with OZZY’s on 2020’s ORDINARY MAN album) for a video medley of the album’s title track, along with his legendary classic (and popular sports anthem) “Crazy Train.”

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter OZZY OSBOURNE will perform at halftime of the Los Angeles Rams season opener on Thursday, September 8 at SoFi Stadium. The performance comes on the eve of the release of Osbourne’s new PATIENT NUMBER 9 album out September 9 on Epic.

Attendees will need to pre-order a copy of PATIENT NUMBER 9 to attend the event as OZZY will only be signing copies of the new album. In order to sign as many copies as possible, the new album will be the only item signed. Masks will be required for all attendees and no photos with OZZY will be permitted.

OZZY OSBOURNE made his SDCC debut this past Friday (July 22) setting a record for the largest signing of the year on the convention room floor (with fans lined up for hours) at the annual event when he teamed up with collaborator Todd McFarlane at the Stern Pinball/Rebellion Republic booth at the sold-out convention.

Despite challenges of the global pandemic, Seattle Theatre Group has been hard at work this past year: creating a new spoken-word showcase for youth of color, producing online programming for more than 30,540 viewers and participants, and safely bringing a variety of musical, dance, and theatrical acts to the stage, including Black Violin, the Indigenous Canadian dance troupe, Red Sky, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, to name a few.  

Before Benicio Bryant competed on “America’s Got Talent”’; before Macklemore was “poppin’ tags” or J’Nai Bridges was gracing the Metropolitan Opera stage, these artists were youth participants in More Music @ The Moore.

In addition to the full-length film, the theatrical screenings will feature exclusive, never-before-seen interviews with Portugal.

It’s the fourth video release from THE LIGHT BELOW, which was released February 5 via Carry On Music and can be purchased or streamed here. Videos for the album’s first three singles, “Divine Intervention,” “The Value of Zero” and “What Did You Expect?” can be seen on the band’s official YouTube and Vevo pages.

The video, which clocks in at 12:30, was directed By Boredom Killing Business with Cory Ingram, Konstantin Komarov and Bob Wayne and shot in the band’s hometown of Seattle. It premiered yesterday on Classic Rock magazine’s website, Loudersound.com, and can be seen on the band’s official YouTube page now.

Seattle's internationally renowned Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) today announced the tribute artist line-up for its annual Founders Award celebration on December 1, 2020.
