Due to overwhelming demand, the producers of Mike Bartlett's critically acclaimed new play, King Charles III have announced that the show's run will extend by 9 weeks, and will now play at the Wyndham's Theatre until 31 January 2015. Tickets for the extension go on sale today.

Two internationally acclaimed productions receive their London premieres at the Young Vic in 2015. Bull, Mike Bartlett's dark workplace comedy will run 8 January - 7 February 2015. Lippy, an exploration of a real-life Irish tragedy and a major hit at the Dublin and Edinburgh Festivals, will run 19 February - 21 March 2015.

King Charles III is the latest production to transfer from the Almeida to the West End. Set after the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, it focuses on the weeks between the former monarch's death and the new monarch's official crowning at their coronation ceremony. The production raises questions that have been raised repeatedly including the powers of the monarch and whether or not they're relevant anymore.

The Almeida Theatre's acclaimed production of King Charles III transfers to the Wyndham's Theatre for a limited season previewing from Tuesday 2 September with a press performance on Thursday 11 September. Tim Pigott-Smith once again plays Charles, and Oliver Chris will reprise his role as William.
