The Old Globe has announced the cast and creative team for the world premiere of Huzzah!, with book, music, and lyrics by Olivier Award winners and Tony Award nominees Nell Benjamin and Laurence O'Keefe.

The current production at the Paramount Theatre is the musical Waitress based upon the motion picture. When it opened, it was the first all-female production team on Broadway. Director and choreographer Katie Spelman gives the audience an evening of laughter, some tears and love. Sarah Bareilles’ music played by the Paramount Orchestra under the direction of Celia Villacres, fills the theater with the beauty of the different styles.

The U.S., Aurora’s Paramount Theatre, will welcome in 2025 with the Midwest Regional Premiere of Waitress. Music and lyrics are by Grammy Award winner and Tony nominee Sara Bareilles, with a book by Jessie Nelson.

The new production at Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire is In The Heights. The music and lyrics are by Lin-Manuel Miranda (pre-Hamilton) and the book is by Quiara Alegria Hudes.  Washington Heights in New York City is the setting. This is a story about hope, love but mostly family.

New Faces Sing Broadway 1984 takes place Tuesday, April 25.
