Gavin Lee to Present STEPPIN' OUT WITH FRED ASTAIRE at Birdland

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present two-time Tony Award nominee and two-time Drama Desk winner Gavin Lee – making his Birdland debut with his solo show “Steppin’ Out with Fred Astaire” – on Monday, May 29 at 7:00 PM.

Jon Arons brought the brass to the Triad with his all singing, all dancing, all trombone playing evening of music dedicated to the brass band sound of the music of Chicago, Kool & The Gang, Brian Setzer, Ricky Martin, Sinatra, and Beyonce! (among others) The 8 piece band supported Jon in bringing the JOY of live entertainment to the hip and happy crowd.

Ballet Theatre of Maryland Presents MOMENTUM: A MIXED BILL

 This season, Ballet Theatre of Maryland presents Momentum: A Mixed Bill at Prince George’s Community College Center for Performing Arts (Largo, January 28), Maryland Hall (Annapolis, February 24 & 25) and Coppermine Pantherplex (Hampstead, March 4). At PGCC, the company will perform Edward Stewart’s Sapphire Romance, Mikhail Fokine’s Les Sylphides, and world premieres by Ashely Taylor and Roman Mykyta.

On Thursday night, Artistic Director Nicole Kelsch shared Ballet Theatre of Maryland's new logo at a gala celebrating their 44th anniversary season. The event, held at Prism Annapolis, also featured a silent auction, a raffle, and live performances from company artists.

Smock Alley Announces Summer Productions and Highlights
