FOX Entertainment has renewed workplace comedy Animal Control, starring Emmy Award nominee Joel McHale, for a second season, it was announced by Michael Thorn, President of Scripted Programming, FOX Entertainment. The single-camera show, FOX’s first wholly owned live-action comedy.

Based on the globally acclaimed Italian series, Doc -- Nelle tue mani, which was created and is produced by Lux Vide, a Fremantle Company, and featured Simona Tabasco and Beatrice Grannò of The White Lotus, FOX’s Doc is a new medical drama centered on Dr. Amy Elias, Chief of Internal and Family Medicine at Westside Hospital in Minneapolis.

Accused’s first season is anchored by Oscar, Tony and Emmy-winning talent, including Michael Chiklis, Abigail Breslin, Whitney Cummings, Margo Martindale, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Wendell Pierce, Rachel Bilson, Jack Davenport, Aisha Dee, Jason Ritter and directors Billy Porter, Marlee Matlin, Tazbah Chavez and Michael Chiklis.

Krapopolis is set in mythical ancient Greece and tells the story of a dysfunctional family. The series features the voices of Emmy Award winner Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd), Matt Berry (What We Do in The Shadows), Pam Murphy (Mapleworth Murders) and Duncan Trussell (The Midnight Gospel).  

Jackson, through his production company G-Unit Film & Television, will develop scripted dramas, live-action comedies and animated series that would air on FOX.  Series created under the deal will be owned by FOX Entertainment and produced by its in-house unit, FOX Entertainment Studios, in collaboration with G-Unit Film & Television.

In the riveting Season Two finale, THONY (Élodie Yung) was confronted by FBI Agent GARRETT MILLER (Oliver Hudson) about ARMAN’s (Adan Canto) part in MAYA’s (Chelsea Frei) death, while NADIA (Eva De Dominici) tries to stay on ROBERT KAMDAR’s (Naveen Andrews) good side.

FOX Entertainment and Modern Magic, an innovation-focused media company founded by Academy Award winning filmmaker Rodney Rothman (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) and producing partner, Adam Rosenberg, have entered into a broadcast direct agreement to develop animated programming for FOX Network.

FOX has ordered the all-new animated comedy Universal Basic Guys/The Hoagie Bros. (wt) from creators Adam and Craig Malamut (Sports Friends, Game of Zones, The Champions). The series will be co-produced by FOX Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television, with FOX Entertainment’s Emmy Award-winning Bento Box Entertainment serving as animation studio.

FOX Entertainment Studios optioned the book, The Bomb Maker, written by the prolific novelist Thomas Perry and is currently meeting with potential writers. Mendelsohn and Weitz will executive produce the project, which follows former commander Dick Stahl, who is called in after the majority of the LAPD Bomb Squad is killed by a house bomb.

FOX Entertainment has given an early Season Two renewal to its upcoming animated comedy Grimsburg, starring and executive-produced by Emmy Award winner Jon Hamm (Mad Men, Confess, Fletch), it was announced by Michael Thorn, President of Entertainment, FOX Entertainment.

Animal Control is produced by FOX Entertainment Studios and also executive-produced by Bob Fisher (Wedding Crashers, Sirens, The Moodys), Rob Greenberg (Frasier, How I Met Your Mother, The Moodys), Dan Sterling (Long Shot, The Interview, Girls, The Office, King of the Hill) and Tad Quill (Scrubs, The Moodys).

The series features the voices of Emmy Award winner Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd), Matt Berry (What We Do in The Shadows), Pam Murphy (Mapleworth Murders) and Duncan Trussell (The Midnight Gospel). Based on the original Argentine series and produced by Warner Bros. Television and FOX Entertainment, THE CLEANING LADY is a story of empowerment, resilience and the human spirit that asks us all if the ends justify the means. Miranda Kwok (“The 100”) developed the series and is a writer and executive producer.

Emmy and Golden Globe winner Michael Chiklis (“The Shield”) is set to star in the premiere episode of FOX’s highly anticipated, straight-to-series crime anthology drama, ACCUSED, executive-produced by Howard Gordon (“24,” “Homeland”), Alex Gansa (“24,” “Homeland”) and David Shore (“The Good Doctor,” “House”).

Co-written and executive-produced by Breathed, BLOOM COUNTY centers on a lawyer, a lobotomized cat and a penguin in briefs and fruit headwear living in the world’s last boarding house in the world’s most forgotten place deep in the dandelion wilds of FlyWayWayOver country. The series is being developed by animation studio, Bento Box Entertainment.

Upcoming feature films and Tubi Originals CINNAMON and MURDER CITY (wt) will be produced by Village Roadshow, alongside NBA MVP and cross-over talent Kevin Garnett and his Content Cartel (“Uncut Gems”), and iconic director and producer Oz Scott (“Black Lightning,” “S.W.A.T.”).  

FOX President, Michael Thorn, has shared that he would 'love to do more' episodes of Glee, ahead of the premiere of the network's new musical series The Big Leap. What are the chances of the show coming back?

In the series, HONEY (Kudrow), a standard poodle, opens her living room for the group to come and support each other through the misery, mayhem and majesty that is being a pet.

In addition, FOX Entertainment’s free streaming platform Tubi has acquired the AVOD rights to all six seasons of the iconic series “The Flintstones,” including all 166 episodes, which will begin streaming on Tubi on May 1. 

Last September, FOX gave OUR KIND OF PEOPLE a writers’ room commitment to allow Gist, Daniels and their team to further develop the project prior to today’s series order.
