BAYWATCH Reboot to Hold Open Casting Call for New Fox Series

FOX Entertainment and Fremantle are holding an Open Casting Call for the new FOX action series Baywatch, a reboot of the iconic 1990s show. The casting call is searching for actors to fill a wide range of roles, including lifeguards, beachgoers, bartenders, love interests, and more.

Aspiring actors, aged 18 years or older, of all genders and ethnicities are invited to audition for roles including series regulars, recurring characters, and walk-ons. Performers are encouraged to arrive “Baywatch-ready” with a wardrobe that evokes a beach setting, while remaining polished, professional, and avoiding overly revealing styles and costumes.

The casting call will commence on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the Marina Del Rey Marriott in Marina Del Rey, CA 90292. Registration is available here. Sign-ups must take place by Tuesday, February 17.

“The Baywatch Open Casting Call gives actors a rare opportunity to join the team of an iconic global sensation that celebrates the California spirit and helped define LA’s incomparable beach culture,” said Michael Thorn, President of FOX Television Network. “We’re excited to discover fresh faces with authentic SoCal energy as we bring back Baywatch for a new generation of fans.”

Baywatch is scheduled to begin shooting this March on L.A.’s famed Venice Beach and on the historic FOX Studio Lot in Century City. Set to premiere during FOX’s 2026-27 season, the series is produced by Fremantle and FOX Entertainment, and executive produced by Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Dante di Loreto, Doug Schwartz, Mike Horowitz and Matt Nix, who also serves as showrunner.

First hitting screens in 1989, Baywatch became the most-watched show in the world, airing in over 200 countries, and at its peak, reaching more than a billion viewers every week.

The original series starred David Hasselhoff and helped launch the careers of international superstars from Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra to Jason Momoa and Yasmine Bleeth.

The series reboot will feature the familiar adrenaline-fueled rescues, tangled relationships, complicated chemistry, and beachside heroics that defined the original, but now with an entirely new cast, contemporary trappings, tensions, and challenges, and a renewed mission to protect Southern California’s shoreline.
