Arts In The Armed Forces Announces 10th Anniversary Celebration

Arts in the Armed Forces celebrates its 10th Anniversary, featuring a pre-show reception, and a special performance by AITAF founder Adam Driver (Star Wars, Paterson, BlacKkKlansman), Michael Shannon (Shape of Water, Boardwalk Empire), Peter Friedman (Succession, High Maintenance) and Marylouise Burke (Sideways, Into the Woods) on Monday, November 12th at the American Airlines Theater, 227 W 42nd Street.

REBEL AND MISFITS PRODUCTIONS is thrilled to announce their upcoming production of "The Realistic Joneses" by award-winning Will Eno, presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. This production, directed by Edward M. Coffield, is the St. Louis premiere of arguably the best work yet from one of America's most clever and perceptive playwrights of the past decade. The event will run for three weeks, Today through Sunday, from July 26th through August 12th at the Kranzberg Arts Center Theater

Victims of Duty runs July 11 - August 5, 2018 at A Red Orchid Theatre, 1531 N Wells in Chicago. Press performances are scheduled for Saturday, July 14 at 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

A Red Orchid Theatre announces its 26th Season, including the Chicago premieres of Small Mouth Sounds by Bess Wohl, directed by Ensemble Member Shade Murray, and featuring Ensemble Members Jennifer Engstrom and Larry Grimm, and Fulfillment Center by Abe Koogler, directed by Jess McLeod, and featuring Ensemble Members Steve Haggard and Natalie West. The 2018-2019 Season will conclude with The Killing Game by Eugene Ionesco, directed by Ensemble Member Dado, featuring Ensemble Members Lance Baker, Mierka Girten and Doug Vickers, with design by Ensemble Member Mike Durst.

The Tank To Celebrate 15th Anniversary With Gala Today

The Tank (Meghan Finn and Rosalind Grush, Artistic Directors) will hold their 15th Anniversary Gala today, May 22 at their home, 312 West 36th Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues). The event will honor Randi Berry of IndieSpace, an organization that creates 'permanent real estate solutions for the independent theater community'. IndieSpace was instrumental in finding The Tank's new home, and we'll be celebrating The Tank's home, history, and future with this exciting event. Tickets ($75-$1200) may be purchased in advance at www.thetankgala.com. 

Milwaukee Rep's PTI Ensemble Performs LOST GIRL

Milwaukee Repertory Theater presents the World Premiere production of Lost Girl by Kimberly Belflower performed by the 2017/18 Professional Training Institute (PTI) ensemble this July 19-22, 2018 in the Stiemke Studio.  PTI is an advanced actor-training program for students in 8th-12th grade who may have an interest in pursuing a career as a professional theater artist.   The 2017/18 PTI ensemble features sixteen students hailing from fourteen different high schools who received free training from some of the top theater professionals in the world, culminating in this capstone performance  of Lost Girl where they will be employed as paid, professional actors.

A Red Orchid Theatre to Present Spring Fundraiser At American Writers Museum

A Red Orchid Theatre's (AROT) Board of Directors, Ensemble and staff, in collaboration with the American Writers Museum, announces its 2018 Spring Fundraiser, featuring a special performance by A Red Orchid Ensemble Member Jennifer Engstrom. Guests will also receive a special presale code for Victims of Duty, starring Ensemble Members Michael Shannon and Guy Van Swearingen and directed by Shira Piven. Theatre Row Hosts Staged Reading Of RAY BRADBURY LIVE (FOREVER)

Emmy-winner Bill Oberst Jr. will portray author Ray Bradbury in an Off-Broadway show planned for the 2019-20 season, under a license agreement with the Ray Bradbury Estate. The first staged reading of Ray Bradbury Live (forever) is set for Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 7pm at Theatre Row, 410 W 42nd Street, NYC. A limited number of complimentary seats are available on a first-come basis.
