Michael McKeever's DANIEL'S HUSBAND Announces Holiday Schedule At The Westside Theatre, Beginning 11/19

DANIEL'S HUSBAND, the acclaimed new play by Michael McKeever, directed by Joe Brancato, recently transferred to a commercial open-ended run Off-Broadway at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43 St.) will update its performance schedule beginning November 19, 2018.

This riotous reinterpretation of one of Shakespeare's best loved plays is given a unique and irreverent twist and features original live music. Following the production's hugely successful run at both the Lyric Hammersmith and Royal Exchange Manchester in 2012, the production was revived in 2016 at the Lyric and then toured to Brisbane Festival and Dublin Theatre Festival. This new tour will visit Hull, Clwyd, Southampton, Exeter, Oxford, Doncaster and Cambridge.

The Atlanta Opera will present From Opera to Opry: Liquor, Love and the Lord on Tuesday, December 5th at The Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse. Now in its second year, the holiday concert, in collaboration with ADA Ovations, will feature renowned professional opera singers as well as the bluegrass and country stylings of Cletus McHatfield and the McHatfield Fambly Singers. From Opera to Opry thrilled a packed house in December 2016, bringing the crowd to its feet on multiple occasions to applaud, as well as dance in the aisles.

Horn, closes its 2016 season with the New York premiere of Daniel's Husband by Michael McKeever from September 23 through October 16, 2016. In Daniel's Husband, Mitchell and Daniel are the ideal couple, everything but married. Mitchell does not believe in marriage; Daniel does.
