Michael Longoria will return to the Greenroom 42 stage, one of New York City’s top cabaret venues, on Friday, July 30th at 7pm. Longoria will serenade his audience in an evening of contemporary summer lovin’ with fresh takes on the radio hits of Cyndi Lauper, Troye Sivan, The Weekend, Erasure, Billie Eilish and more.

The Friars club is back and better than ever. The summer season started out with a sold out series called  “BACK TO BROADWAY, Part 1 ” The event was produced by Friar Jane Shevell. Ms. Shevell ’s productions at  the Friars Club has earned the reputation of “must see”.

Spring is here, vaccines are rolling out, and New York City, slowly but surely, is getting ready for the renaissance of 2021. Since New York Governor Andrew Cuomo began expanding arts re-openings earlier this month, several off-Broadway shows and NYC venues have announced plans to return.

Hope is on the horizon! With the acceleration of vaccine distribution and a new timetable to begin reopening NYC, some of the first re-openings have recently been announced. We've rounded up all of the latest news on the current state of Broadway for March 2021.

The Green Room 42 is officially reopening beginning next month!  A lineup of shows has been announced for April including Lillias White, Erika Henningsen, The Skivvies, Kenn Boisinger, Michael Longoria, and Boy Band Brunch.

In 2020, 14 up and coming performers competed every Tuesday night to win the title of 'Rising Star' and a cash prize of $1000. The competition was narrowed to their top 4 finalists and the Covid-19 outbreak prevented them from hosting their grand finale. They are taking it digital to announce which one of these talented vocalists came out on top!

Tonight at 7pm, original Jersey Boy Michael Longoria will be presenting a virtual concert, singing movie love songs from my album LIKE THEY DO IN THE MOVIES.  

Since 1978, West Bank Cafe has been one of the epicenters of New York City’s theatre community, and due to the pandemic, it is on the verge of permanently closing. With Broadway dark, tourism down, indoor dining closed, and no relief plan in sight, 2020 has created a plethora of financial problems for the beloved theater district institution. 

John Krause (Hadestown, Wicked, Rock of Ages) will join Broadway Buskers in the series' next concert on Tuesday, September 1. The program will also feature performances by Jasmine Forsberg (Broadway Bounty Hunter, Love in Hate Nation, The Lucky Boy) and Josh Walker (Side Show, Radio City Christmas Spectacular).

Elliott Masie & Telly Leung are hosting the 17th weekly one-hour Empathy Concert on Friday, August 28th! Featuring Broadway and TV Stars Michael Longoria, Liz Callaway, Melinda Doolittle, and Co-Host Telly Leung.

The Times Square Alliance has announced performers for the next slate of Broadway Buskers concerts through the month of September. Kicking things off, the August 18th performance will feature a Next to Normal  mini-reunion with performances from both Alice Ripley and J. Robert Spencer!
