This month, 54 BELOW will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

Feinstein’s at the Hotel Carmichael in Carmel, IN invites you to spend an intimate evening with the multiple Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award nominee Judy Kuhn. Judy will perform for two evenings, Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10.

Michael Feinstein is about to once again burnish his long-held reputation as a leading interpreter of the music of the iconic composer and his lyricist brother – the team responsible for songs like “Fascinating Rhythm,” “They Can’t Take That Away from Me,” “The Man I Love,” and many more – when he brings “Two Pianos: Who Could Ask for Anything More?” to Boston’s Symphony Hall, May 31–June 1, and Tanglewood in Lenox, Massachusetts, on July 18.

From hundreds of applications nationwide, 40 finalists from 16 states have been selected to participate in this year's Songbook Academy summer intensive, an acclaimed preprofessional music program for young singers focusing on the timeless standards of jazz, pop, Broadway and Hollywood.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present the New York debut of the musical revue “Hooray for Hollywood!” on Thursday, June 15 at 8:30 PM.

MADam LUCY, deceased, a new musical about the life (and afterlife) of Lucy Ludwell Paradise (1752-1814), with book & lyrics by two-time Emmy Award-winning songwriter William Schermerhorn and music by composer and recording artist Elise Morris, will have its first staged workshop in Williamsburg, Virginia, in the historic Great Hall of the Sir Christopher Wren Building on the campus of William & Mary.

The legendary Denise Tomasello returns for her first one-woman concert since her triumphant debut at the Des Plaines Theatre in Judy, Liza, Barbra & Me, a musical celebration of these female musical legends, Denise returns in her new one woman show called The Songs of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr, Tony Bennett and Me, with her 17-piece orchestra.

Jim Caruso’s Cast Party, which is about to celebrate two decades at the iconic Birdland in NYC, seems to be entering a Golden Age of entertainment! Over the past few months the room has been packed with audiences eager to cheer the impromptu open mic/variety show made up of Broadway performers, cabaret divas, jazzers, and a few acts impossible-to-describe!

Diversionary Theatre has announced the cast and creative team for its San Diego-premiere of Head Over Heels, a musical based upon “The Arcadia” by Sir Philip Sidney, with songs by the iconic 80's all-girl rock band, The Go-Go's. 

The stars came out to celebrate last night at the Belasco Theatre, where the new American play, Good Night, Oscar starring Sean Hayes opened.
