The Inheritance officially opened tonight on Broadway! BroadwayWorld attended the big night and we're taking you on the red carpet. 2019-20 Season marks Creative Cauldron's eleventh season of programming at ArtSpace Falls Church.  The diverse season offerings include live theater, concerts and cabarets. The season kicks off in October with the regional premiere of Disenchanted, a hilarious musical that takes a second look at the real world fates of fairytale princesses.  Madeline's Christmas returns once more to ring in the holiday season and Crowns, the inspirational gospel musical celebrating the resilient, hat-wearing sisters of the south, takes the stage in February. 

The Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival is proud to share that Paul Willis, Executive Director to both the TW/NO Literary Festival and Saints + Sinners LGBTQ Literary Festival, has received the Publishing Triangle's special Leadership Award. Created in 2002, this award recognizes contributions to LGBTQ literature by those who are not primarily writers, such as editors, agents, librarians, and institutions.

Contra Costa Civic Theatre (CCCT) today announced its 60th Main Stage season, including the East Bay premiere of a foot-stomping bluegrass musical, a beloved holiday tale as a radio show, a fresh-from- Broadway comedy/drama about one family's coming to terms with aging, the Bay Area premiere of the rest of the LBJ story, and a joyous gospel musical.

Younger is making its big return this summer! The critically acclaimed, smash-hit series from the Emmy winning writer-producer Darren Star will remain at TV Land when it debuts its upcoming sixth season on Wednesday, June 12 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

The Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival returns to the historic French Quarter for its 33rd annual celebration of contemporary literature, culture, theater, and the works of Tennessee Williams. From March 27-31, 2019, attendees will enjoy celebrated award-winning speakers alongside fresh new voices on the literary scene.

Netflix has announced the additional cast of 'Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City,' which stars Laura Linney, Olympia Dukakis, Ellen Page and Barbara Garrick.

The Barrow Group presents Martin Moran's Obie Award-winning solo play, The Tricky Part, directed by Seth Barrish.

Vintage Theatre Productions announces 11 shows for the 2019 season. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. at Vintage Theatre, 1468 Dayton St. in Aurora.
