What did our critic think of PRODUCERS at Gdynia Musical Theater? It’s not the first time, but it’s still a title that the Polish audience isn’t deeply familiar with. ​​​​​​​There are so many inside jokes that it’s hard to count, and even more references to American culture, brutally mocked by Mel Brooks, that can be tricky for Polish viewers to grasp. Nevertheless, the show delivers plenty of laughs.

Open Stage in Harrisburg will celebrate Halloween with Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, running October 4–November 1, 2025. Directed by Stuart Landon, the farcical reimagining of Bram Stoker’s novel features wild quick-changes, zany humor, and a five-actor cast led by Brad Barkdoll as Dracula.

Kumail Nanjiani, who recently starred as Mary's Husband in Broadway's Oh, Mary!, has set the date for his latest one-hour comedy special. The performer makes his return to stand-up after nearly a decade with 'Night Thoughts,' debuting on Hulu Friday, December 19.

FX is officially moving forward with Very Young Frankenstein, a new series spinoff of the 1974 Mel Brooks film Young Frankenstein, with a cast that includes Zach Galifianakis, Nikki Crawford, and Kumail Nanjiani.
