Producers of glory|struck are thrilled to announce complete casting for the upcoming Untitled and Unauthorized: ALMOST FAMOUS in Concert, a one-night only engagement on Sunday, June 12th at the historic Troubadour.

?The highly anticipated new musical Emojiland premieres next month as a concert reading at Rockwell Table & Stage in Los Angeles after several sneak-peek song showcases, as previously covered by BroadwayWorld. The show marks the first time emojis have been adapted into a long-form narrative.

BREAKING THROUGH, a world premiere musical, features a book by Kirsten Guenther, and music and lyrics by Cliff Downs and Katie Kahanovitz. The production is choreographed by Tyce Diorio and directed by Sheldon Epps. Preview performances began October 27, 2015 with the official press opening on November 1, 2015 at The Pasadena Playhouse (39 S. El Molino Avenue in Pasadena). A sexy cast of beautiful people inhabits Green Day's punk rock opera American Idiot, in a ferocious glory|struck production that opened last weekend at The Vortex. Directors Topher Rhys and Jen Oundjian (who also choreographs) take full advantage of the concert venue space and go for a panoramic experience, moving the action offstage whenever possible. The concept enhances the surround sound feel of the show and if you approach it from a concert mindset it will be easy to go with the flow. In a way, by chopping up the visual space to include playing areas all around the space, it enhances the disconnectedness we see in the characters. Plus, there is a certain kind of bond an audience feels with an actor when he is dripping with sweat and singing his guts out right next to you.
