In celebration of Women's History Month, Theatre 40 is presenting a Zoom reading of House on the Hill: Mary Ellen Pleasant's Story. Ms. Pleasant (1814-1904) was the first African American female millionaire, an abolitionist who worked with the Underground Railroad, a champion who sued for the right to ride the trolley car in San Francisco, and who earned the name of Mother of Civil Rights in California.
FotoFocus Announces Upcoming Lens Mix Virtual Talks

FotoFocus announced it has extended its Lens Mix virtual conversation series and will present 3 new live talks on March 4, April 10, and May 6, 2021. Initially conceived as a three-part series to celebrate FotoFocus’s tenth anniversary in 2020, Lens Mix connects speakers from different fields to comment on film, photography, and lens-based art.
Odetta Gallery Extends Debra Pearlman Exhibition

Project:ARTspace and ODETTA presents a weekly Gallery Focus featuring works in our current exhibition, A Kind of Language, as well as some of Debra's backstory. A significant work that was proposed, but never realized was Rapunzel at Dearborn Station in the early '80s when Pearlman was based in Chicago.

Stars in the House continues tonight (8pm) for a reunion of The Waltons! The hosts will welcome Mary Beth McDonough (Erin Walton), Eric Scott (Ben Walton), Kami Cotler (Elizabeth Walton), Judy Norton (Mary Ellen Walton), Michael Learned (Olivia Walton), and Richard Thomas (John-Boy Walton) to reminisce about their time on the iconic 70s drama series, which took viewers on a journey through the family's lives for nine seasons.
