The cast recording for new musical rock interpretation of Shakespeare's classic comedy titled A ROCKIN' MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM is now available for pre-order.

New arts center raises the bar for a Shakespeare favorite

The 12.14 Foundation presents A ROCKIN' Midsummer Night's Dream, a world premiere adaptation of one of Shakespeare's favorite plays. The show begins tonight,August 1st at 7PM, and continues August 2nd at 2PM and 7PM , August 3rd at 2PM, August 8th at 7PM, August 9th at 2PM and 7PM and August 10th at 5PM. The 12.14 Foundation will be producing two shows for its summer season incorporating 200 children from the Newtown-area as a continuation of its mission to promote personal development through high-level performing arts programs. Broadway Sings Justin Timberlake, the sixth concert of the BROADWAY SINGS concert series, just continued last night at (le) Poisson Rouge. More than 15 Broadway performers were accompanied by a full jazz band playing brand new, original orchestrations of Timberlake's greatest hits. Stageworks Media will present an industry reading of GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN, a New High School Musical written by Eric Price and directed by Daniel Goldstein (Godspell). Set in a prep school, GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN is a modern retelling of the Jane Austin classic Emma, and features a score comprised of contemporary pop songs made famous by female singers, songwriters, and female-led bands. GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN will be presented on Friday, June 20th at 11:00 am at 54Below (254 West 54th Street, NYC).

A GAY SHOW FOR ALL PEOPLE! will play The Duplex on Sunday, June 15 at 9:30 p.m.

Just last night, 'Submissions Only' co-creators Kate Wetherhead and Andrew Keenan-Bolger celebrated the songs of their hit web series at 54 Below. Under the music direction of Michael Croiter, the Submissions Only House Band, along with a number of exciting guest stars, performed a selection of music from all three seasons of the show, including original songs like 'Two Cents,' 'Wrong Spot' and 'Nobody Does Mean Like Me.'

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, just presented Jonathan Reid Gealt, making his solo 54 Below debut. Having performed to sold out venues around the world, this night featured favorites from his first two albums ['Thirteen Stories Down' and 'Here For You (Ballads For Broadway Impact)'], as well as a number of world premieres that will end up on Jonathan's upcoming third album as well as a number of world premieres from his musical Dust and Shadow.
