The Emelin Theatre has appointed David Bander as Executive Director. Bander brings a wealth of experience and a passion for the arts to his new role.

Emelin has received a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts.

The Emelin Theatre for the Performing Arts is celebrating its 50th anniversary year with a Gala on November 3 featuring Broadway Star Mandy Gonzalez (Hamilton, In The Heights, Wicked).

The Emelin Theatre has launched the Rise & Shine Campaign to prepare for, fund and celebrate its reopening scheduled for early October.  The Rise & Shine campaign will run throughout 2021 and lead into the 50th Anniversary Season of the Emelin in 2022.

World renowned dance company Ailey II returns to the Emelin Theatre with on Saturday April 13 at 8pm. After a wildly successful sold-out performance in May 2010 at the Emelin Theatre, the Ailey II dance company will 'once again delight audiences with some of the best young dance talent performing works by three outstanding emerging choreographers.'

At the very popular Molly Spillane's Pub, Mamaroneck Mayor Norman S. Rosenblum introduced Festival Director Patrick Sciarratta and Artistic Director Mark Morganelli to an enthusiastic crowd of leaders in business, government, hospitality and the arts to outline their plans for a mammoth jazz festival the first of its kind for the village.
