Westchester's Emelin Theatre is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Executive Director Lisa Reilly. "The Board is excited that Lisa is joining the Emelin as its Executive Director. She brings a successful track record running performing arts centers and we are impressed with her enthusiasm for learning about and becoming a part of our diverse community," said Board of Trustees co-Presidents Mark Ettenger and Seth Kaplan.

Reilly comes to the Emelin and the Westchester community after working extensively in the non-profit arts community. For over four years, she was the Managing and Artistic Director of the College of Staten Island Center for the Arts (CFA), a 5-theater complex that hosts more than 800 events a year. Reilly was also the Executive Director of the Earlville Opera House, a historic theater and arts center in upstate New York, for over a decade. In addition, she has served as the Executive Director of Westbeth, an artists' housing project in Manhattan's Greenwich Village. Reilly has taught at Syracuse University and served as a consultant on community arts organizations and in the specialty areas of marketing, fundraising, board development, grantswriting, executive searches, and curriculum. Reilly has served on and chaired panels for the New York State Council on the Arts, the Council on Arts and Humanities for Staten Island, the New York Foundation for the Arts, the Pennsylvania Performing Arts on Tour program, the Performing Arts Exchange Conference, and many others. Reilly is a board member for Sundog Theatre Company, and for Racoco Productions, a modern dance company. She has been awarded scholarships from the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation.
