Goldenstein Gallery Celebrates Slow Art Day

This year Goldenstein Gallery is participating in Slow Art Day. An international movement that encourages people to deeply look at one or a few pieces of art rather than what we often see at a museum or gallery, people trying to see as much as they can take in.

BWW Spotlight Series: Phil Brickey – Actor, Director, Rock Musician, and an Elementary Theatre Teacher Learning to Take his Classes Online

This Spotlight focuses on Phil Brickey, an actor, director, rock musician and Elementary School Theatre teacher who was one of the first directors for whom I produced a 2006 show for Kentwood Players at the Westchester Playhouse. That show was George Washington Slept Here which required a double level set to be constructed as the home being renovated had to look totally dilapidated in Act 1 and beautifully restored in Act II. Quite a feat of stagecraft thanks to set designer Grant Francis.

ArtServe Temporarily Closes To Help Stop The Spread Of COVID-19

To assist in community efforts to combat the spread to COVID-19, ArtServe has temporarily closed for at least 30 days until the situation can be re-evaluated. Meanwhile, all ArtServe events and activities have been cancelled through May. The ArtServe staff will continue to work remotely.

THE MEETING Hosted by Justin Sayre Will Be Live Streamed

After being postponed at Joe's Pub due to the unforeseen pandemic, Justin Sayre brings his wild and witty comedy variety show The Meeting* to Livestream on March 22 at 8:00 PM EST. TYNDALE PLACE Postponed At 1812 Productions

Given the growing scope of efforts to combat the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, 1812 Productions has postponed the production of its newest musical Tyndale Place until the 2020-2021 theatre season. The show will have its world premiere production at a time to be determined at Plays & Players Theatre in Center City, Philadelphia.
