54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will again present I Wish: The Roles That Could Have Been-Women’s History Month Edition on March 13, 2023, at 9:30pm.

Next month, 54 BELOW will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

In attendance were former Broadway Matildas Bailey Ryon, Milly Shapiro, Oona Laurence, Sophia Gennusa, Gabriella Pizzolo, Alexandra Vlachos, Ava Briglia, Ava Ulloa, Aviva Winick, Brooklyn Shuck, Eliza Madore, Fina Strazza, Mattea Conforti and Mimi Clark-Ryder. Earlier this week, The Nederlander Organization unveiled the new Lena Horne Theatre in honor of the iconic entertainer and civil rights activist. This is the first Broadway theatre in history to be named for a Black woman. BroadwayWorld was there and you can check out photos from the ceremony here!

FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW will present Aged Out: Current & Former Broadway Kids Take The Stage! on July 14th, 2022, at 9:30pm. Broadway would not be complete without its hundreds of fiercely talented child actors who have recently been seen in shows like Disney’s Frozen, Caroline, Or Change, Disney’s The Lion King, Flying Over Sunset, and many others.

The Early Night Show with Joshua Turchin announced that it is bringing back live performances for the first time since the start of the pandemic. The shows will begin taping starting in April from the Broadway Makers Marketplace, the new For Broadway Fans, By Broadway Fans Pop Up Shop located in the Turnstyle Underground Market at Columbus Circle (57th & 8th Ave Subway Station).

Theatre lovers and Industry Professionals have a little more time to head down to the Underground to experience the Broadway Makers Marketplace as the producers announced today, in true Dreamgirls style; 'I'm Not Going' via their social media accounts.

What more can be said about Once On This Island, the Lynn Ahrens-Stephen Flaherty musical which launched its national tour in Nashville last night with a remarkable opening performance before a capacity crowd in Andrew Jackson Hall? The critical raves, audience adulation and awards for the recent Broadway revival of the Caribbean-influenced musical were enough to attract ticket-buyers, to be certain, but the sheer artistry of the production and its amazingly talented cast will be more than enough to propel the company forward on their cross-country tour where, we suspect, the accolades will continue to be bestowed upon the heartfelt and authentic story.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the tour of the Tony-winning revival of Once on This Island will launch at The Carson Center for Performing Arts in Paducah, KY on October 12, 2019, followed by its official opening in Nashville, TN at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) on October 15, 2019.
