The Dodgers and Staci Levine are delighted to produce Broadway’s master songman, Mandy Patinkin, accompanied by Adam Ben-David on piano, in Mandy Patinkin Live in Concert at the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue in London’s West End for strictly eight performances only from Tuesday 7 November 2023. 

The season will start with Broadway vocal sensation Jessica Vosk, known for her knockout performances in Wicked and Fiddler on the Roof, singing a program called California Dreamin’ on Friday, September 29 at 8 PM. Then Emmy Award® and Tony Award®-winning star Mandy Patinkin is in concert with Being Alive with Adam Ben-David on Piano on Thursday, November 2 at 8 PM.

The West Coast premiere of Mischief Theatre Ltd.’s Peter Pan Goes Wrong opens August 11, 2023, at the Ahmanson (with previews beginning August 8th). Adam Meggido directs the zany cast of Bartley Booz, Matthew Cavendish, Bianca Horn, Harry Kershaw, Chris Leask, Henry Lewis, Ellie Morris, Charlie Russell, Jonathan Sayer, Henry Shields, Greg Tannahill, and Nancy Zamit. The company is completed by Ryan Vincent Anderson, Stephen James Anthony, Fred Gray, and Brenann Stacker. Matthew was most gracious to answer a few of my queries.

The American Theater Hall of Fame has announced its 2023 Inductees. The inductees include actors Mandy Patinkin, Bebe Neuwirth, Judd Hirsch, and Laurie Metcalf; director Joanne Akalaitis; librettist John Weidman; composer Maury Yeston; and, posthumously, playwright Amiri Baraka. 

The scripted comedy – inspired by the couple’s real life and relationship – was co-created and co-written by writer-director Ewen Wright and their son Gideon Grody-Patinkin. JAX Media was producing the project for SHOWTIME, inspired by the couple's video content on Instagram, Tiktok, and YouTube.

Kim Moore, who appeared in Hadestown under the name Kim Steele, has sued the Hadestown producing entity alleging several counts of race discrimination and retaliation under New York State, New York City and federal law. Essentially, the suit alleges that Moore was a respected employee, but was fired soon after complaining about racial discrimination.
