A new musical makes its debut in cabaret and concert at The Green Room 42.

Singer/tapper Luke Hawkins brought an extraordinary evening of singing, dancing and laughter to the Birdland Theater on Monday, June 20.  The show was a love letter to these art forms, as Luke paid homage to the history of tap dance greats. Check out photos here!

The Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry at the University of Connecticut will present the grand opening of its new exhibition Swing into Action: Maurice Sendak and the World of Puppetry, curated by Ballard Institute director Dr. John Bell on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 4:30 p.m.

Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival opens the iconic Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical A Chorus Line. The show previews June 22 & 23, opens June 24 and will run through July 10 at the Labuda Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of DeSales University.

The beloved late-night play competition is BACK, reclaimed, and newly imagined to prioritize BIPOC and Queer voices. For the first time since the show's conception, the artists will be paid for their work.

Syracuse Stage has announced casting for the world premiere of How to Dance in Ohio, a new musical inspired by Alexandra Shiva’s Peabody Award-winning documentary of the same name. The Jimmy Awards have just announced this year’s 92 nominees, coming from 46 high school musical theatre awards competitions across the U.S. The show will feature dynamic ensemble and solo performances and will culminate with the presentation of a Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor award, as well as other honors and scholarships. Winners will be chosen by a panel of industry experts.
