Celebrated 19-year-old singer-songwriter Brynn Cartelli unveiled her ethereal, guitar-driven single “Girl Code.” Written by Cartelli shortly after moving to New York City, the song illustrates the night she met her current boyfriend. Produced by Adam Argyle (Dua Lipa, James Bay), the track is out now on all streaming platforms.

Weightless will play a limited engagement from September 17–October 16, 2022 at WP Theater, with support from piece by piece productions. The off-Broadway stage premiere of this soaring and dynamic indie rock musical follows the smash success of Weightless on screen, which was reconceived for film and live-streamed by WP in a limited run in 2021.

Rising artist LUCI (pronounced Loo Chē) announces the release of her debut EP. Entitled Juvenilia, it will be released via UK label Don’t Sleep. She also shares a new single from the EP, “Trippin Trippin Trippin.” On the song, produced by Elias Abid, LUCI grapples with her struggles, apologising for being stir crazy and at times explosive.

Samuel French’s Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival has announced that Joshua Harmon is this year’s honorary festival playwright. This year’s top 30 playwrights were chosen from over 650 submissions around the world. They will present their plays during a week-long festival August 16-20 at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater in New York City.
