By chance, Kris Kringle, an old man in a retirement home, gets a job working as Santa for Macy's. Kris unleashes waves of good will with Macy's customers and the commercial world of New York City by referring parents to other stores to find exactly the toy their child has asked for. Seen as deluded and dangerous by Macy's vocational counselor, who plots to have Kris shanghaied to Bellevue Psychiatric Hospital, Kris ends up in a court competency hearing. Especially at stake is one little girl's belief in Santa. This week host Frank DiLella will take an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of the iconic Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade by covering the full process, from rehearsals all the way to the parade route. DiLella will get up-close with Executive Producer Susan Tercero, Creative Director Rick Pomer, Creative Producer Welsey Whately and Senior Director of Production John Piper to discuss the parade's history and how hundreds of employees, family and friends, and Broadway stars help to carry on the annual tradition that features an array of beloved balloons from Snoopy to SpongeBob SquarePants, and of course jolly Old St. Nick. In addition, a world famous Radio City Rockette will share her first-hand experience performing in the parade.

Returning to 4th Wall to direct is Jennifer Dean, who previously directed a beautifully realized production of 'Collected Stories' by Donald Margulies and a brilliant staging of 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?' by Edward Albee. This collaboration of Houston's most highly recognized professional artists and a nationally recognized award-winning guest artist will surely make 'The Realistic Joneses' the theatrical event of the season.
