The rumors are true: ANASTASIA has finally made its way to Indianapolis. You may be thinking it’s just another movie turned musical, but there are new twists and turns to this rendition of the beloved animated film. There’s the romance, the legend of Anastasia, the glittering costumes and crowns, but there’s also battles with personal principles and a sense of national pride that leaves people emotionally and morally torn. In short, it has it all.

Irish Repertory Theatre just celebrated opening night of the New York Premiere of Chester Bailey by Emmy Award winner Joseph Dougherty ('thirtysomething,' My Favorite Year) and directed by Emmy Award nominee Ron Lagomarsino (Digby, 'Homefront'). Starring real-life father and son, Tony Award winner Reed Birney and Ephraim Birney, Chester Bailey will run through November 13, 2022. Check out photos from opening night!

Classic Stage Company's A Man of No Importance will extend its run due to popular demand. Previously set to close on December 4, the musical will now close on Sunday, December 18. 

Broadway Records will release the original cast recording of Knoxville. Based on the novel by James Agee, Knoxville recently played a critically acclaimed world premiere run at Asolo Repertory Theatre in Sarasota, Florida. The album will be available everywhere digitally on Friday, October 21, and on physical CD on November 11.

Katy Lipson for Aria Entertainment has announced the casting for the world premiere of Claus The Musical which will run at The Lowry from 14 December 2022 – 8 January. The cast includes Georgie Buckland who will play Necile, Junior Delius (AK), Chris Draper (Will Knook), Jazz Evans (Awgwa), and more.

National Children's Theatre will present Seussical Jr from 30 October to 22 Dec at NCT's Imagination Theatre, Parktown, Johannesburg.

Asolo Repertory Theatre has announced the cast and creative team for the opening show in its 64th season, CABARET. Broadway and Asolo Rep favorite Josh Rhodes returns to direct this classic musical with a book by Joe Masteroff, based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood, with music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb.
