The National Tour Of ANASTASIA to perform at Kalamazoo's Miller Auditorium

Shereen Ahmed (My Fair Lady) will complete the company for Classic Stage Company's revival of A Man of No Importance, playing Adele Rice. A Man of No Importance will begin performances on Tuesday, October 11, with opening night set for Sunday, October 30 for a limited run through Sunday, December 4.

I had the honor of seeing the original Broadway cast of the Tony-winning musical Ragtime as my very first Broadway show. So, as you can guess, I am absolutely ecstatic to see that the Bay Street Theater added it to their fantastic mainstage season this year. This well done and heart rendering incarnation is excellently directed by Will Pomerantz - who also serves at Bay Street's Associate Artistic Director - and runs through August 28th at the gorgeous Sag Harbor venue.

A Man of No Importance will begin performances on Tuesday, October 11, with opening night set for Sunday, October 30 for a limited run through Sunday, December 4.

What did our critic think of ANASTASIA at Whitney Hall? The Broadway musical Anastasia finally opened in Louisville this week, 28 months after its anticipated opening in March of 2020. It also marks the final show of Broadway in Louisville's 'Welcome Back' season. The audience was buzzing as patrons filled into Whitney Hall to attend the opening night over two years in the making.

Seussical is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza - with full orchestra! Tony winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Once on This Island, Ragtime), have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little girl with a big imagination – Jojo. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos.

Casting has been announced for the next season of the North American tour of the Broadway production of ANASTASIA. This company will begin performances August 23, 2022, during the second week of a two-week engagement at the Citizens Bank Opera House in Boston, MA. Veronica Stern will lead the cast as Anya.

Blackfriars' production of 'Seussical' showcases the talents of numerous young performers, from Yates' kind and sensitive Horton to Jade Hill's soulful Sour Kangaroo to the sassy stylings of the Wikersham Brothers (Danny Dobbins, J. Jake Thomas, Avery White).

This is a Broadway caliber production you won't want to miss.

The historic Royal Theatre in Downtown Benton is preparing for its 2022-2023 season. This 29th season for The Royal Players is filled with an eclectic group of musicals ranging from a retelling of an iconic literary tale, a musical theater classic, and a Disney favorite, just to name a few.

Blackfriars Theatre presents its 2022-2023 BTSI (Blackfriars Theatre Summer Intensive) production: Seussical, The Musical with music and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.

Actors Training Center, located in Wilmette, IL, will present Seussical the Musical this summer.
