The Acting Company is proud to announce JULIUS CAESAR and ROMEO & JULIET, two touring productions visiting New York City schools across the five boroughs in January 2020. In an expansion of the Company's five-decade relationship with the Juilliard Drama Division, the school touring productions will for the first time feature casts of current Juilliard acting students.

Keen Company Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein today announced the leads for the Gala Benefit Reading of the beloved classic comedy Arsenic & Old Lace by Joseph Kesselring, directed by Mr. Silverstein featuring an all-star cast. The one night only event will take place Monday, February 24th at 7 PM at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues).

Antoinette Nwandu's searing and poetic new play 'Pass Over' will be performed at Luna Stage in West Orange from February 6 to March 1. Directed by Devin E. Haqq, 'Pass Over' is a provocative, contemporary mashup of 'Waiting for Godot' and the 'Exodus' saga. Broadwayworld.com had the pleasure of interviewing Kevis Hillocks who plays Moses in the show.

Red Bull Theater (Jesse Berger, Artistic Director | Jim Bredeson, Managing Director) today announced the New York premiere of All the Devils Are Here - How Shakespeare Invented the Villain, a dazzling exploration of Shakespeare's two decade-long investigation of evil with Tony Award nominee Patrick Page. This one night only special event will take place on Monday February 24th at 7:30 PM at the Cherry Lane Theater (38 Commerce Street, three blocks south of Christopher Street, just west of Seventh Avenue).

It was announced today that Matt McGrath (Cabaret, A Streetcar Named Desire) will join the Broadway production of the hit musical Girl from the North Country in the role of Reverend Marlowe. McGrath replaces David Pittu who has left the production due to a scheduling conflict.

Six-time Tony and Emmy nominee Tovah Feldshuh will return to the Mizner Park Cultural Center on March 28th and 29th for four performances only with her Broadway-bound musical Tovah is LEONA! The show, in which Feldshuh assumes the persona of real estate mogul and hotelier Leona Helmsley, played to sold-out houses in early January. 

Accompanied by Wayne Abravenel on keyboards, cabaret performer Francesca Amari takes us through Gilda Radner's early years, her loves, and her ultimate challenge, facing her own death, through storytelling and song. If you didn't love Radner already, you will by the time the show ends.

Scenes From Childhood, a new play by Ari Brand (My Name Is Asher Lev, Fosse/Verdon, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) now playing at the Theater at the 14th Street Y through January 25. Set against the backdrop of the AIDS crisis in New York City, Scenes from Childhood tells the story of a young actor who pieces together the life and death of his father, a concert pianist. Spanning both the 1980's and present-day New York, this theatrical memoir asks: Who gets to tell your story?

The Fabulous Fox Theatre will have THE BAND'S VISIT, one of the most Tony Award®-winning musicals in history, come to St. Louis from February 25 - March 8. The tour of the critically acclaimed and 10-time Tony Award-winning production launched at the Providence Performing Arts Center on June 25, 2019 and continued on to play Washington, DC starting July 9, 2019. THE BAND'S VISIT will play over 32 cities in its first season including Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Boston, MA and Los Angeles, CA.

Hunter Theater Project's production of MAC BETH, directed and adapted by Erica Schmidt, celebrated its opening night on January 16 with a party at French American bistro, Palais.

Vineyard Theatre Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern announce dates for Dana H. by Lucas Hnath, adapted from interviews with Dana Higginbotham conducted by Steve Cosson, and directed by Les Waters. Previews will begin on February 11 (previously February 7) at Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street) with Deirdre O'Connell reprising the title role for the New York premiere direct from engagements at Center Theatre Group and The Goodman Theatre. Opening night for Dana H. is set for February 25.

Written and directed by Nathan Catucci, Impossible Monsters will have its theatrical release in New York at the Cinema Village and in Los Angeles at the Laemmle Monica Film Center on Friday, February 14, 2020. Gravitas Ventures, a Red Arrow Studios company, acquired Worldwide rights to the film. Nick Royak of Gravitas Ventures negotiated the deal with Glen Reynolds of Circus Road Films on behalf of the filmmakers. The film will be released on various Video On Demand platforms in North America, UK and Australia, and worldwide on Vimeo on March 3, 2020.

The Duluth Playhouse is sending its audiences to the beauty parlor when it presents Robert Harling's hilarious comedy, Steel Magnolias, which will be performed January 30-February 9, 2020 at the NorShor Theatre. This show is directed by Playhouse veteran, Julie Ahasay.

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) has announced casting for the world premiere production of The Bedwetter, a new musical with a book by Drama Desk Award winner Joshua Harmon and Emmy Award winner Sarah Silverman, lyrics by Emmy Award winner Adam Schlesinger and Sarah Silverman, music by Adam Schlesinger, and direction by Lucille Lortel Award winner Anne Kauffman.

Details were announced today for the 35th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. The Awards will be handed out on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts, beginning at 7:00pm EST. The Lucille Lortel Awards are produced by the Off-Broadway League and the Lucille Lortel Theatre Foundation.
