Taking the stage this month across Henderson County Public Schools elementaries: Letterland Alive!

Escape to a new world by playing a part in the upcoming production in Flat Rock Playhouse's Studio 52 Family Programming Series, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Auditions will be held at the Education Building located at 1855 Little River Road in Flat Rock on Friday, Sept. 20th and Saturday, Sept 21st

If Flat Rock Playhouse's 2019 Homecoming Season celebrates family, love, and adventure, then Neil Simon's Proposals, checks all three boxes. Simon is known for hits such as The Odd Couple, Barefoot in the Park, and Lost in Yonkers, and much like his other comedies, Proposals recounts the highs and lows of family life with laughter, punctuated by moments of connection and discovery.

With Nat Zegree starring on the piano and accompanied by members of the Hendersonville Symphony, audiences can expect an unforgettable and downright spectacular production. Single tickets are now available for the Flat Rock Playhouse 2019 Season of live theatre celebrating love, family and adventure. Known locally as Little Broadway in the Mountains, the Playhouse has showcased professional performances since 1952 with unparalleled quality. This season is no exception, as 61 equity actors and 16 equity-bound apprentices, as well as a host of union designers and technicians, gather at the Rock to delight audiences and continue the tradition of Broadway-quality theater.

Flat Rock Playhouse will continue the 2018 season with a Flat Rock Favorites all-star performance featuring the musical styles made famous by The Grand Ole Opry. Combining the talents of performers from Million Dollar Quartet, Music on the Rock: Johnny Cash & Roy Orbison, and Music on the Rock: Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson, Pickin' and A Grinnin': A Night at the Opry guarantees a high energy, merry riot of musical expression.
