Shakespeare & Company Slates 2018 Winter Studio Festival of Plays

Shakespeare & Company has announced its Winter Studio Festival of Plays on January 13 and 14, 2018. This weekend of staged readings will showcase emerging and established playwrights, and feature Company artists. All performances will take place in the Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre on the Shakespeare & Company campus in Lenox, Massachusetts.

Playwrights Horizons announced today that stage and screen star Jesse Tyler Ferguson ('Modern Family,' Fully Committed, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) has joined the cast of LOG CABIN, the world premiere of a new play by Pulitzer Prize finalist Jordan Harrison (Marjorie Prime, Maple and Vine, Doris to Darlene at Playwrights; 'Orange Is the New Black').

Lily Rabe will lead the cast of TNT's upcoming pilot DEADLIER THAN THE MALE. The two-time Tony nominee will star opposite BLOODLINE alum Enrique Murciano in the drama pilot to be produced by Bruna Papandrea's Made Up Stories and Turner's Studio T.

Manhattan Theatre Club's new Broadway production of Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan, opened just last night, Wednesday, April 19, at MTC's Samuel J. McCarter Theatre Center closes the 2016-2017 Theater Series with a new production
of Pulitzer Prize-winner Lynn Nottage's Intimate Apparel, a story of an African-American seamstress living in 1905 New York City pursuing her dreams of love and independence. Directed by Jade King Carroll, Intimate Apparel will run from May 5 to June 4.
