Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott Join AMERICAN HORROR STORY: APOCALYPSE

Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott are retuning to AMERICAN HORROR STORY in the upcoming season, Apocalypse, according to Variety. Britton and McDermott appeared in the first season of the series.

This is highly anticipated news since Apocalypse is a cross over between the first season, Murder House, and season three, Coven.

Returing along with Britton and McDermott, is Jessica Lange, as will fellow series alums Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Emma Roberts, Taissa Farmiga, Adina Porter, Leslie Grossman, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, and Stevie Nicks. "Assassination of GIanni Versace" star Cody Fern is also set to appear this season as Michael Langdon.

Cody Fern will star in the season as Michael Langdon, the child of Tate Langdon (Peters) and Vivien Harmon (Britton) who was born during the events of "Murder House." The epilogue of the final season revealed that Michael is in fact the Anti-Christ.

"Apocalypse" is set to premiere on FX on September 12th.
