Comedian Richard Herring will return to stand-up after six years with his new show Can I Have My Ball Back?, coming to Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre on 23 May.

Directed by Jimmy Fairhurst and starring Les Dennis as Malvolio, Not Too Tame return to the Shakespeare North Playhouse this summer, with an exciting new production of Twelfth Night.

Park Theatre has announced a plethora of new shows for 2024, including the third installment of their hugely popular Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] series and a two-part adaptation of The Forsyte Saga.

 Jennifer Ellison is joining The Official Take That Musical GREATEST DAYS, with a book by award-winning playwright Tim Firth. 

“You’re going out a youngster, but you’ve got to come back a star!” Ever since the pandemic forced theatres to close, then threw their return into jeopardy as actor after actor tested positive for COVID, and performances were either cancelled or more cover than normal was called on at short notice, the importance of the understudy has been back at the forefront of theatregoers’ minds. This is one very good reason for a new production to be mounted, just four years after the Theatre Royal Drury Lane version closed its doors.

Actor Nicole-Lily Baisden is playing the role of Peggy Sawyer; fresh off the bus from small-town America, she arrives in New York City dreaming of her name in lights. Nicole-Lily spoke to BroadwayWorld about the necessary stamina she needs for this show within the show and what playing Peggy has taught her about herself.

Treason the Musical will ignite this year with an album, recorded from last year's Theatre Royal Drury Lane concert, and finish with a 'bang' in October with the global premiere of the fully staged production of Treason.

Paul Whitehouse will return to the cast of the smash hit West End show Only Fools and Horses The Musical next year, starring once again as the lovable Grandad from 9 January. The critically acclaimed musical is also extending its run at London’s Theatre Royal Haymarket for a further three months until 29 April.
