Due to huge demand, three Special Priced Previews have been announced for the Melbourne season of WICKED at the Regent Theatre.

The Lexington Theatre Company brings Broadway and Rising Stars to the stage.  Irving Berlin’s White Christmas will be led by seasoned pros from Broadway/National Tours including Matthew Amira (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Dirty Dancing) as Bob Wallace, Darius Jordan Lee (Ain’t Too Proud) as Phil Davis, Gregory North (Into the Woods, Secret Garden, Grand Hotel) as General Waverly, Desi Oakley (Waitress, Annie, Chicago, Wicked, Les Misérables) as Betty Hanyes and Molly Rushing (Anastasia the Musical) as Judy Haynes. They will share the stage with Lexingtonians Rachel Allison Black (Martha Watson) and Rory Harden (Susan Waverly).

On 30 October, WICKED will celebrate 20 years on Broadway  and the Australian company will commemorate the occasion with all the WICKED productions around the world.

Due to popular demand, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre has announced an extra week for its new production of La Cage aux Folles, with 8 added performances from Monday 18 – Saturday 23 September 2023.

As Rob Madge transfers their award-winning autobiographical show, My Son's a Queer (But What Can You Do?), to the West End, theatre music label Westway announces that it will release the original cast recording of the show through their Westway Original imprint on 21 October 2022.

Featuring a roster of musicians that includes singer-songwriter Gabriel Birnbaum, Nick Jost and Sean Mullins as the core trio, Male Models also boasts guest lead vocal spots from Adam Duritz (Counting Crows), Katie Von Schleicher, Felicia Douglass (Dirty Projectors, Ava Luna), Alex Schaaf (Yellow Ostrich), V.V. Lightbody, and Mutual Benefit.
