The Ken Page Awards Unveils 2026 Winners at The Fabulous Fox

The Ken Page Awards (formerly known as the St. Louis High School Musical Theatre Awards) winners were revealed at The Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis. The ceremony was hosted by program alum Allison Broadhurst.

Review: FIRST DATE at New Jewish Theatre

New Jewish Theatre's current production of FIRST DATE features a terrific cast in sublime comedic performances. Director Lee Ann Mathews and her company of seven clever actors fearlessly dive into physical comedy to create an entertaining show that is light, zany, and funny. It certainly isn’t a masterpiece of modern musical theater, but “FIRST DATE is a delectably fun and entertaining little diversion with a lot of laughs. 

NJT Closes Out 2024 Season With FIRST DATE

NJT will close out their 2024 season with the romantic musical comedy First Date, with a Book by Austin Winsberg, and Music and Lyrics by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner.

13th STL Teen Talent Competition Awards Announced

On April 8th the fourteen final acts of the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition competed live on stage at the Fabulous Fox. Students vied for $50,000 in college scholarships, cash awards and special prizes.

13th STL Teen Talent Competition Chooses 14 High School Acts For Final Event

On February 26, 49 metro area high school acts competed in the semi-final round of the 13th Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition. The acts were divided into four categories (vocal, instrumental, dance and specialty) and adjudicated by nine St. Louis performing arts professionals, each representing the respective categories.

FLANAGAN'S WAKE Comes to The Playhouse at Westport Plaza

Ozark Actors Theatre Announces Full Cast And Creative Team For MARY POPPINS

Ozark Actors Theatre is thrilled to announce the full cast and creative team for this summer's production of Mary Poppins. The production will be directed by Lee Anne Mathews, and will star Pauline Parkhurst as the practically perfect, titular nanny. Quinn Cason will take on the role of Bert, and St. Louis legend John Contini will play the role of Admiral Boom.

NJT is 'Really New' For its 2018-19 Season

As the New Jewish Theatre closes out the first season of our third decade, it's time to make a few changes. So the upcoming 2018-19 Season includes many things that are NEW for the New Jewish Theatre. This includes a new season where four of the five shows are regional premieres which have only been performed a handful of times. Three of the five are comedies.

That Uppity Theatre Company and the St Lou Fringe Present AFTER ORLANDO

On November 14, 2016, at 7:30pm at the Kranzberg Arts Center in Grand Center, That Uppity Theatre Company and the St Lou Fringe, present excerpts from a collection of three minute plays specifically written and curated in response to the massacre at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida, on June 12, 2016, that took the lives of 49 LGBTQ and Allied people.
