The beloved novel From The Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsberg is becoming a new family musical for the theatrical stage. Adam Ben-David (Music), Jessica Penzias (Book), and Christyn Budzyna (Lyrics) will receive a 29-hour reading in New York City on May 16, 2022, at the JCC Manhattan.

Symphony Space (Executive Director: Kathy Landau), the NYC cultural institution that produces unforgettable one-night-only events, presents a quintessentially Symphony Space concert, Celebrating Sondheim: Songs from A Little Night Music, on Monday, April 25. Hosted by 2020 Tony Award winner and seven-time Tony nominee Danny Burstein, the event raises funds for Symphony Space’s year-round, multi-disciplinary programming and education programs.

A Broadway classic gets the concert treatment, led by some very classy fellas.

The leading male roles of the identical twin Antipholus brothers will be played by real-life identical twins John and Matthew Drinkwater, the young musical duo who have become stars of the internet and have performed at major New York venues including Birdland, Feinstein's/54 Below, The Green Room 42, The Town Hall, and Don't Tell Mama.

New York City Center today announced complete casting for the Encores! production of Mack & Mabel. Sometimes ballet can be tricky. It's an art form that, when misunderstood, can come off as stuffy and out-of-date. Neither of those labels are an accurate description of the program New York City Ballet is showcasing at the Kennedy Center. With a skillful blend of contemporary and classic techniques, there's something for everyone in this thrilling presentation.

For the second time in Encores! history-and to honor City Center's 75th Anniversary Season-the series revived one of its own revivals. A highlight of the second season of Encores! (1995) and featuring a memorable score by Irving Berlin and book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, Call Me Madam centers around a brassy ambassador to the fictional European nation of Lichtenberg. The show pokes fun at a far more polite and benign political world and includes standards such as 'It's a Lovely Day Today' and 'Something to Dance About,' along with Berlin's most famous counterpoint duet, 'You're Just in Love.'
