Gabrielle Stravelli - the celebrated jazz-pop vocalist and songwriter described as a 'lighthouse of emotional integrity' by Downbeat and as a 'quadruple threat and force to be reckoned with' by jazz icon Bob Dorough - debuted a new online talk show, 'The Early Set' featuring conversations with American and international jazz artists on Wednesday, June 24th.

The Vancouver Queer Film Festival (VQFF) released today its complete lineup for the 11-day digital film festival, taking place August 13-23, which includes artists from India, Philippines, United States, and Canada. More than 60 films from 10 countries are featured at this 32nd Festival presented by RBC, along with virtual visits from filmmakers, local directors and numerous local performing artists, in addition to virtual parties and post-screening Q&As. Broadway Does Mother's Day has raised $150,000 and counting for the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund.

Additional casting has been announced for Broadway Does Mother's Day, a digital variety show featuring sketches, performances and appearances from Broadway shows and stars.

Viewers were treated with performances from Hollywood actors Ralph Fiennes (Schindler's List, Harry Potter), Lea DeLaria(Orange is the New Black) and John Ventimigia (The Sopranos, Blue Bloods), to Broadway Stars Cady Huffman (TONY winner, The Producers) and Daphne Rubin-Vega (TONY nominee Original Mimi in Rent), to musicians Rufus Wainwright and Kenyon Phillips, to principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre James Whiteside and more.
