The Guthrie Theater today announced it will reopen its facility to the public on Thursday, July 8, 2021, and mount seven productions in its 2021–2022 Season, beginning with a limited-run production in October on the McGuire Proscenium Stage and an all-new production of its cherished holiday classic A Christmas Carol on the Wurtele Thrust Stage.

East West Players (EWP), the largest producing organization of Asian American artistic work, has announced that it is postponing its upcoming production of Lavina Jadhwani's The Sitayana (Or “How to Make an Exit”), originally scheduled May 14-June 6th.  The production, presented  in partnership with San Francisco's EnActe Arts and New York City's Hypokrit Productions, will be rescheduled for this fall.
