Kristin Chenoweth’s Broadway Bootcamp is in full swing today, after last night’s orientation and Ghosts of TONY kickoff party, hosted by Julie James of SiriusXM On Broadway.

Kristin Chenoweth announced today that her Broadway Bootcamp will happen this year, June 6-13, in a unique virtual edition! The week long annual session will be held for students completing grades 8-12 in the 2020-2021 school year.

Emmy Award and Tony Award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth returns to her hometown of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, June 9-15 to lead the fifth annual Kristin Chenoweth's Broadway Boot Camp to help mold dozens of students who hope to make a career in the theatre arts industry.

Saturday night, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, the 2nd Annual Kristi Awards took place, culminating the end of a week's work and training at the 4th year of Kristin Chenoweth's BROADWAY BOOTCAMP.

Last night was one of those special kind of evenings in Manhattan. Members of the Broadway Cast of MISS SAIGON gave up their night off, to perform and raise money for NAAP (National Asian Artists Project). The conceit was the cast sing 'whatever they want' … and it worked. The young, attractive company of the current revival are very talented and events like these are always a reminder of how deeply gifted each individual member of a  company must, in order be to be able to explode with such power together, nightly, on the stage of the Broadway Theatre.

Last night, Broadway legend Andre De Shields celebrated the opening night of B-Side Productions' The Wild Party, Michael John LaChiusa and George C. Wolfe's 2000 Broadway musical, helmed by Associate Artistic Director Billy Bustamante, featuring music direction by Addison Frei, at the TBG Theatre in New York. Jasper Grant is Artistic Director of B-Side Productions. The full cast has been announced for B-Side Productions' return of Michael John LaChiusa and George C. Wolfe's 2000 Broadway musical The Wild Party that will begin performances September 6th at the TBG Theatre for a run through September 17th.

Last night, Baayork Lee and her National Asian Artists Project raised the curtain on their production of OLIVER! The production that plays through tomorrow night only, was made possible with special permission from Cameron Mackintosh and Tams-Witmark Music Library, Inc.

True to its core mission of showcasing the talents of Asian-American theater artists, National Asian Artists Project (NAAP), which presented the Broadway musical 'Hello, Dolly!' last year, is now facing the challenge of staging Lionel Bart's beloved Broadway musical OLIVER!, featuring a 65-member all-Asian cast made up of 20 child actors, including Bonale Zon Fambrini, who will play the title role; 25 professional adult actors; and 20 members of the NAAP Broadway Community Chorus.

Oliver! features David Garrison (Fagin), best known for his role as Steve Rhoades on the hit television series Married...with Children, Betsy Morgan (Nancy), John Treacy Egan (Mr. Bumble), Jose Llana (Bill Sikes), David Hess (MR. Brownlow), Ethan Haberfield (Artful Dodger) and introducing Tyler Moran as Oliver. Oliver! also features 16 local boys from across the state of New Jersey who auditioned from a pool of over 200. Oliver! plays the Millburn, New Jersey theater through December 29. The official press opening was last night, December 1, 2013, and BroadwayWorld was there for the festivities.
