For eight of the last ten years, Wicked Lit has created theatre among the dead - quite literally - at Mountain View Mausoleum in Altadena. Three stories adapted from classic literature have been the norm most recently, with a fourth story functioning as a framing device to connect the pieces and bring a sense of camaraderie to the crowd. The result is an exceedingly entertaining evening of indoor-outdoor theatre in one of the spookiest venues in Southern California.

Thousands of souls have their final resting place in Altadena's Mountain View Mausoleum and Cemetery but, once a year in the fall, the living invade the domain of the dead. That's when Unbound Productions' WICKED LIT takes over the grounds and creates a site-specific theatrical experience based on classic and original horror stories. It is unlike any other kind of theatre or Halloween event you've ever seen and it is seriously the coolest thing you can do in Southern California. Ask anyone who's done it.

Going gay has never been this dysfunctional!
In a thoroughly engrossing and original piece, actor Kevin Dulude portrays Katharine Hepburn in selected highlights throughout her long career. Each segment includes a song from that time period, which though Hepburn never sang originally, adds mysteriously fascinating luster to the Hepburn mystique. If she had recorded an album of these songs, each would punctuate to perfection a feeling, mood or opinion that was undeniably Hepburn. This portrayal is not an impersonation, mind you, but a loving and moving tribute - both humorous and poignant - and, remarkably well etched.
