Cortland Repertory Theatre Downtown at 24 Port Watson Street has postponed the remainder of their spring season and has rescheduled most events for the Fall of 2020. The following is planned:
Cortland Repertory Theatre is now entertaining audiences at the picturesque Little York Pavilion in Preble, New York with the highly entertaining Tony-nominated jukebox musical Million Dollar Quartet. Featuring the classic tunes of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins, Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux's (book) musical is inspired by the night when Elvis Presley (Noah Jermain), Johnny Cash (Colin Barkell), Jerry Lee Lewis (Gavin Rohrer), and Carl Perkins (Todd Meredith) made history with their legendary jam and recording session on December 4, 1956 at the famous Sun Records studio in Memphis. Narrator Sam Phillips (Bobby Becher), founder of Sun Records and legendary producer, recalls that historic and magical evening when these musicians jammed out to their hits and he had a 'Million Dollar Quartet' on his hands for their only performance in the one-room studio.

Mamma Mia! 'Here we go again.' There is now another production in Central New York of this hit jukebox musical based on the songs of ABBA. This time around it is a delightful production at the picturesque Cortland Repertory Theatre in Preble, New York. For a musical that is repeatedly (sometimes too much) performed throughout the country, the Cortland Rep production, directed by Kerby Thompson, is quite fresh, powerful, and exciting.

Cortland Repertory Theatre was awarded 9 Syracuse Area Live Theatre (SALT) Awards at a ceremony held on Sunday, November 11, at the Redhouse Theatre in Syracuse. CRT received a total of 54 nominations from five of their summer productions in 2018. The SALT Awards are divided into three categories: Professional, Regional and Community, with CRT falling into the Regional category. Nine Academy members view hundreds of performances around the Central New York area in a year, and vote in a number of acting and technical design categories.

Based on a story by Nik Cohn, the movie was adapted for the stage by Robert Stigwood in collaboration with Bill Oaks, with the North American version written by Sean Cercone and David Abbinati. The production features the Grammy Award winning songs by the Bee Gees.

Cortland Repertory Theatre is announcing local Youth Auditions for actors between the ages of 10 18 for the summer productions of the Disney musical Newsies (June 25 July 28, including rehearsals) and the Pulitzer prize winning play Our Town (July 16 August 11, including rehearsals). Auditions will be held on Thursday, January 25 from 4:00 7:00 PM at CRT Downtown, 24 Port Watson Street, Cortland.
