'Meet Me Where I Am,' a timely and intimate look about moving through grief, will make its US premiere at this year's Dances With Films (DWF) Festival, June 22nd - July 2nd at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood.

Without You, written and performed by Anthony Rapp, directed by Steven Maler with musical direction by Daniel A. Weiss opened just last night, January 25, 2023 at New World Stages. BroadwayWorld was there for the big night and you can check out photos below!

Anthony Rapp and Ken Ithiphol have a son! Rapp shared to Instagram, 'Ken and I are thrilled to share that our family has grown! Our son, Rai Larson Ithiphol, was brought into the world on Friday, December 2, 2022, by an incredibly generous surrogate, to whom we are eternally grateful.'

Performances officially began last night for New York City Center Encores! production of Into the Woods. Directed by Encores! Artistic Director Lear deBessonet with music direction by Encores! Music Director Rob Berman and choreography by Lorin Latarro, the special two week run of Into the Woods (through May 15) is dedicated to the memory of the legendary Stephen Sondheim. Just last night, New York Theatre Workshop celebrated its NYTW 2022 Gala, honoring Artistic Director James C. Nicola, who will depart NYTW after 34 years on June 30, 2022. 

Just last night, Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway premiere of Trouble in Mind opened on Broadway. Trouble in Mind is led by LaChanze as 'Wiletta Mayer,' with Michael Zegen as 'Al Manners,' Chuck Cooper as 'Sheldon Forrester,' Danielle Campbell as 'Judy Sears,' Jessica Frances Dukes as 'Millie Davis,' Brandon Micheal Hall as 'John Nevins,' Simon Jones as 'Henry,' Alex Mickiewicz as 'Eddie Fenton,' and Don Stephenson as 'Bill O'Wray.'

In attendance were Lin-Manuel Miranda (Director/Producer), Andrew Garfield (Cast), Alexandra Shipp (Cast), Vanessa Hudgens (Cast), Robin de Jesús (Cast), Judith Light (cast), Joshua Henry (Cast), Ben Levi Ross (Cast), Steven Levenson (Writer/EP), Brian Grazer (Producer), and Julie Oh (Producer).

Anthony Rapp has revealed that he is engaged! He made a post on Instagram, announcing that he has asked his boyfriend, Ken Ithiphol, to marry him, and he said yes.

The American Theatre Wing just presented the 2018 Jonathan Larson® Grants recipients are Jay Adana (music and lyrics), Andrew R. Butler & Andrew Farmer (music, lyrics, and book), Emily Kaczmarek& Zoe Sarnak (music, lyrics, and book), and Mark Sonnenblick(music and lyrics). Four prestigious, unrestricted grants of $10,000 each, as well as additional support in the form of residencies, concerts, and recording grants, totaling over $48,000 were given at a private event at the WNYC Greene Space.
