Producer Ken Davenport announced on his blog, a special livestream event featuring the cast of Daddy Long Legs for The Producer's Perspective Live.

The original Broadway cast recording of COME FROM AWAY will be released on vinyl worldwide for the first time on Friday, May 15. The album will be available as a 2-LP set on blue vinyl. Previously only available in the US as a limited-edition yellow vinyl, this edition will be available worldwide.

In over ten years of being in the audience at the Hobby Center, I have never heard applause as loud and abundant as I did at last night's curtain call. It was as if the whole audience agreed not only that we had witnessed something significant, but were acknowledging that we witnessed it together. In seeing COME FROM AWAY there is an otherworldly layer of unity as an audience member, as all of us shared to some extent the story that was being played out onstage.

What better way to end the BroadwayWorld UK coverage of the 20th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards than with backstage interviews with some of the winners and the presenters who gave them their awards.

Diana producers Grove Entertainment (Beth Williams), Frank Marshall and The Araca Group celebrated the first preview performance at Broadway's Longacre Theatre today by announcing that the Original Broadway Cast Recording of the new musical will be recorded by UMe, a division of Universal Music Group, and released this summer. The cast will go into the recording studio a week after the show's official opening on March 31st. Composer David Bryan and Ian Eisendrath, Musical Supervisor and Arranger, will produce the album.

As the nominees and guests were arriving last night for the 20th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards we managed to steal some of the nominees and presenters away for a quick chat. BroadwayWorld UK reporter Jamie Body discussed with them the importance of the audience to the theatre as well where they would keep their award if they won.

The evening brought together many producers, collaborators and artists that Alex has worked with throughout his career.
