The 24th Annual The 24 Hour Plays On Broadway will honor the inaugural 2007 class of The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals. Learn more!

Court Theatre will present the Spotlight Reading Series, featuring works authored and inspired by Lorraine Hansberry. This year's series will explore her literary and political voice as a playwright, an activist, and a queer author from Chicago's South Side.  

In a dynamic live return of The 24 Hour Plays flagship intensive for early-career artists, a select group of 43 actors, directors, playwrights, producers and a composer created new work written, rehearsed and performed in 24 hours. See photos from the plays!

The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals will take place in person in New York City for the first time since 2019 at Theatre Row on Monday, July 25th. Tickets for The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals 2022 performance will be offered exclusively through a lottery system.

Today, The 24 Hour Plays announced that the 11th annual application for The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals are now open and will run through April 18, 2022. The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals will take place in person in NYC for the first time since 2019.

The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, now in its 10th year, once again brought together an extraordinary group of young artists for a free professional intensive culminating in their own production of The 24 Hour Plays — available for streaming through Saturday, July 31.

The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, now in their tenth year, kicks off their rigorous professional experience for artists 25 and under tonight with their own production of The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues, featuring the 43 program participants and 12 guest writers from previous years of the Nationals program.

Today, The 24 Hour Plays, creators of The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway, The 24 Hour Musicals and the Viral Monologues, announced this year’s company for The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, which will be held as a virtual program.

Today, The 24 Hour Plays announced that the 10th annual application for The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals will be available starting March 24, 2021 and will run through April 11, 2021. The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals will take place virtually (for the second year in a row) and applicants from everywhere are engaged to apply. 

The 24 Hour Plays has announced their annual production of The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, at The New School for Drama on Monday, August 14th at 8:00 PM.

The 24 Hour Company (producers of The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway and around the world, as well as The 24 Hour Musicals) and their longtime collaborator The New School College of Performing Arts, School of Drama will present The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals in New York City this summer.

Stand-up comedian, actor and writer Mark Roberts returns home for the Midwest Premiere of NEW COUNTRY at The Den Theater, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave. The no-holds-barred show runs now through May 14, 2016. Under the direction of Ian Streicher, the uncensored comedy about a country star's Nashville bachelor party going wildly amiss is sure to entertain audiences looking to push the proverbial envelope for a moving and hilarious night out. Best known for his TV work on Two and a Half Men and Mike & Molly, Roberts trained as an actor and began his theater career in 1982 outside Chicago, where he first worked with New Country's director David Harwell.
