The Laurie Beechman Theatre in Times Square celebrates Pride Month with Antonia Kasper's TRUE CONFESSIONS OF THE STRAIGHT MAN. In this retro 90's farce with music, everyone thinks Todd is gay, including the girl he likes. Afraid he might jeopardize their friendship, Todd's ruse snowballs into an over-the-top mix-up of sexual preference and identities, when he gets his roommate and a drag queen involved. What happens when a straight guy pretends to be gay to get the girl?

The Sauk, Hillsdale County’s community theatre, will present the 2022 edition of Sauk Shorts for four performances, April 21-24.  

The original musical written by Patrick Kasper is back on stage again! This shorter version (about 1 hour and 10 minutes) was put on by the Grand Forks Central kids. This fun and family friendly show will hopefully be on many more stages in the future. I know Patrick would like to get this on as many stages as possible.

When the Shanley Players first announced that they were to present The Lightning Thief, I was very intrigued. This musical is adapted from the book The Lightning Thief written by Rick Riordan. I have personally never read the books, but my kids were all huge fans. I did, however, see the movies with my kids when they came out. Knowing this was a new musical for me, I purposely did not listen to any of the songs before hand. As far as I can tell, this is the local premier of this show.

The Green Room 42 has announced their March line-up for in-person performances. Located inside YOTEL Times Square (570 Tenth Avenue, Fourth Floor), The Green Room 42 is Broadway's newest and most spacious cabaret club.

Long Beach Opera's  season begins March 19-27, 2022, with an operatic staging of Karlheinz Stockhausen's acapella choral work STIMMUNG. This transcendental meditation through music will become a literal feast for the senses in a new production at LBO, directed by Alexander Gedeon with music direction by Fahad Siadat and David Harris.

The Joe Hill Revival which had it's original performance at the Rustik Tavern in Brooklyn in September 2021, will be performed in concert at the Triad theatre 158 W 72nd St, New York, NY 10023.
